Treoir Dragon Chronicles of the Belador World: Book 4Treoir Dragon Chronicles of the Belador World: Book 4 by Dianna Love
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What another great addition to this amazing series!
Book 4 in the Treoir Dragon Chronicles was such a great read, it took it's main characters down separate paths letting them start to loose the faith and mistrust in each other. There's little bit of everything thrown in this part of the story from kidnap and mayhem to finding out that all is not what it at first appeared to be. I am really enjoying reading these books and so glad that there is not a big wait for the next book of the series to be released. As always when reading books by this author the writing is very good and it's so easy to find yourself lost amongst the pages of her stories.

Treoir Dragon Chronicles of the Belador World: Book 2Treoir Dragon Chronicles of the Belador World: Book 2 by Dianna Love
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I am absolutely loving this new spinoff series to the Beladors!
While this second instalment of the Treoir Dragon Chronicles doesn't give you as much background information about it's characters that book #1 did, it still shows Daegan and Casidhe revealing little parts of themselves while trying to build a trusting relationship in their search to find both Tristian and Fenella who are both missing.
We also see them doing a lot of going back and forth in this book in their quest to find both of their friends, which often becomes a clash of wills and at times shows just how stubborn they both can be. I really like both of their personalities, they both have strong character, depth and an amazing will to survive whatever situation they find themselves in, and so because of this I'm really hoping that they could become possible love interests as they are so well suited and would make an excellent match, but we will have to wait and see if it happens as their story moves along in the rest of the series.
Great writing as always from Dianna Love, this is such an intense exciting series to read!

Treoir Dragon Chronicles of the Belador world: Book 1Treoir Dragon Chronicles of the Belador world: Book 1 by Dianna Love
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This wonderful new spin off series from Dianna Love take us on a behind the scenes tour of the life of Daegan the Treoir Dragon king. In this first book of the Treoir Dragon Chronicles it starts by filling in some of the gaps that were missing about him from the the original Belador series in lots of flashbacks. It begins by telling us about his life and of his family from centuries ago, and of how he was betrayed trying to protect his beloved family and his father the king. Meanwhile in present day Atlanta out on patrol with his Beladors there is a brand new threat to the world from a supernatral force escaping from hell.
I am loving that we get to see a lot more of Daegan especially learning about what happened to him before he was rescued by Evalle and the Beladors from the clutches of The Medb queen, and I also love that we will still get to see many of my favourite characters from the original series, and with the added bonus of a few new characters being introduced that appear to play an important part in this story, it's bringing a fresh and new feel to the continuation of the Belador/Dragon world story.
Excellent storytelling that is as breathtaking as it is enchanting! I can't wait for the next book to drop on to my kindle.

The Truest Thing (Hart's Boardwalk, #4)The Truest Thing by Samantha Young
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Finally this is the book that we have all been waiting for, at long last we get to read about Hart's Boardwalk's most unlikely couple of Jack Devlin and Emery Saunders. It's been a long time coming but OMG it was so worth the wait. Jack belongs to the most ruthless and wealthy family in the area that will stop at nothing to get what they want, while Emery is a quiet woman full of mystery that runs the bookstore on the boardwalk. Their attraction to each other has been smouldering under the surface for so many years and this book finally reveals all of their secrets and to why they have been kept apart from each for so long.
My anticipation was extremely high for this book, so putting my worries aside I found that once I got started I just could not put this book down, it's story absolutely pulled me right into it, and as I turned each page I became more and more invested into their story. I loved every part of it from the angst, the drama and that the hope of the love that Emery and Jack shared for each other was finally becoming true.
Samantha Young is a truly talented writer that knows how to take her readers on an emotional road trip, hitting you hard with the pitfalls of love and heart break. I laughed and I cried for all that she put her characters through, and I love her writing even more for being able to make me care about the lives of two fictional characters in her story.
Another brilliant addition to this already wonderful series and maybe my favourite one of them to date.

The Matter of a Marquess (The Duke's Bastards, #3)The Matter of a Marquess by Jess Michaels
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Matter of a Marquess was such a great story to read. It's about two young lovers, Aurora and Nicholas who were torn apart by the evil lies and deceit of both of their ruthless fathers. She is forced into a loveless marriage and he goes off to war to forget about her. Years later they get a second chance at love after taking part in a meeting amongst mutual friends. Together they set the record straight of what happened between them both all those years ago, and as they become reacquainted the path that they find themselves upon leads them both to uncover a scandal while looking for Aurora's friend that has mysteriously gone missing.
I really enjoyed their story as it was a little dark and edgy especially with all the suspense that was unfolding, and as the secrets were being revealed from the past it was such an exciting and imaginative plot line. The romance was just perfect too.
Another wonderful story to add to this series of The Duke's Bastards.
