This is a fantastic story about Iris who has pined for James, her answer to Clark Kent for a very long time until one night they share a kiss under the stars, but it takes a encounter at a party for them both to give into the desire for each other so they decide to make a deal to be together as long as Iris doesn't fall in love with James and that they will always remain friends if they should fizzle out. So much for that as Iris is already in love so she agrees. Without any spoilers after three years of dating James makes a major mistake and Iris walks out of his life with a broken heart. When he finally realises what he's done and what he's about to loose he confesses his all but it's to little to late. Towards the end someone from James's past turns up and there is a major cliffhanger which is driving me nuts to want to read the next part of this story. Great first book from Alex Wilde.
