I fell in love with Hart's Boardwalk while I got lost between the pages of The One Real, the idyllic descriptions of such a warm and friendly place to visit by the sea got me hooked on this series not to mention the the array of so many enigmatic characters that made the story come alive. I was so excited to be able to read a copy of Every Little Thing, Vaughn and Bailey's story, they are two very different people that are just meant to be together only they can't admit it to themselves or see the spark that everyone else around them can see igniting between them. This is a classic enemy to lovers story and I love it particularly for that reason as im a big fan of this kind of storyline. They are both very stubborn and headstrong characters from two different worlds that clash head on often with differences of opinion and with them both taking everything the wrong way no matter what the motivation behind the action was which adds to their distaste for each other, this all makes for some very exciting and turbulent reading when they collide and explode at each other.
This story reveals an in depth insight into the motivations of why Bailey loves her Inn so much and why Vaughn choses to stay in Hartwell away from his life in New York. We get to see more of the other characters from the first book as well such as Emery, Cooper and Jess and the Devlins who are always there causing trouble trying to take over the town by their underhand ways and dodgy dealings. As a community they all play a part in each others lives either looking out for each other or trying to destroy what each other holds dear.
I absolutely loved Vaughn and Bailey's story it was so well written that it swept me away and got me so entranced by the magic of the boardwalk. I have come to expect great things from an author like Samantha Young and I am never disappointed, she has written a happy heartfelt story full of love and romance but it also has so much more with some intrigue and danger added into the mix that at times had my heart pounding out of my chest. This an excellent series and another great book to add to her achievements, Samantha Young is such a talent author that I cant get enough of, I cant wait to read the next book as im now well and truly in love with the people and town of Hart's Boardwalk.
