About The Authors
Anna hails from the rural countryside near London. She previously worked as an accountant, and while she still does a bit of accountancy on occasion, the majority of her time is now spent writing and looking after her family. An avid reader herself, Anna turned to writing to combat depression and anxiety after her diagnosis in 2015. She loves travel, hunky heroes with dirty mouths, demure but spunky heroines, and dramatic suspense. You will find all four woven into each of her magical stories.
Claire has a passion for writing and finally took the plunge getting published. She has always been a fan of everything paranormal, especially romance books. A native Brit, she lives in Italy with her husband and daughter. When she is not writing and drinking copious amounts of tea, she enjoys taking photos of her adoptive country, trying to stay fit with running, reading amazing books and being a stay at home mother.

Firstly please be warned that this book is not just a fantasy romance, it has a very dark theme underneath the love story and may be a trigger for some readers!
Ok well having gotten that said I really did love this book, as I'm such a sucker for legends, myths and normally Greek God mythology this was a refreshing change for me to read about the Roman Gods as i've not come across them very much in a modern day romance book.
Mars is the God of War and he and his father Jupiter are on the lookout for any of the old gods that have been reborn and forgotten who they are before Pluto the God of the Underworld finds them to use as a weapon to destroy the human world. They stumble upon Vicky who is a goddess that doesn't remember who or what she is.
I really liked this story of how the Roman gods live among us humans watching over humanity and being secret protectors. It was an interesting idea and I very much liked that even while their trying to help protect us they sometimes get things so very wrong and cause more harm than good in the world, this made them feel more realistic and believable characters by being perfectly imperfect and flawed.
Much thought has gone into the writing of this book by the two authors you can tell by how detailed and well written it is. As I said before it does become quite dark and somewhat violent but it is an essential part of the story as it makes Vicky and Mars be who they really are.
This was a great start to the Gods reborn series and I'm really excited to see what will happen next.
