The Princess Plan (A Royal Wedding, #1)The Princess Plan by Julia London
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Princess Plan was quite the enjoyable read. It is the kind of historical romance that I have come to love, with it having a strong and feisty heroine in the shape and form of Eliza Tricklebank, she is a most memorable character. She is a spinster that is old enough to not care about what anyone thinks of her, and with having a strong and willful mind, she often says exactly what she thinks to anyone. When she first comes face to face with Sebastian the Prince of Alucia, he has no idea that her willful mind and way of plain speaking will be his undoing and becomes the reason for his his attraction to her.
I really liked that the story had a good plot with plenty of romance and intrigue, but also that it has a sub plot of a murder that together they try to solve. The story kept me interested and I really like the author's style of writing as it was easy to follow.

Parker Brown can’t believe she needs to hire a fake boyfriend. When she landed her dream job in renewable energy, she thought she’d be entering a world at the forefront of progressive thinking. Responsibility weighs heavily on Rhys. Now permanently out of the ring, he’s trying to hold together his late father’s gym and keep his younger brother, Dean, on the straight and narrow. To save Dean from himself, Rhys takes his place, ready to give this society girl a piece of his mind. Instead, he finds an opportunity. Even though they can hardly stand each other, posing as Parker’s boyfriend is a win-win deal. She gets to keep her job, and he’ll charm her star-struck boss into sponsoring his gym.

AngryTink: Hey. This is Parker. Parker Brown. My phone dinged loudly. I fumbled around my bed, finally finding the damn thing under a pillow. Wiping the sleep off my face, I rolled onto my back and read the text that had pulled me out of a pleasant sleep. I smiled. It was just so … Parker. Settling in, I answered her. RhysThis: Don’t have to tell me who you are. Your number is programmed on my phone. What do you want? AngryTink: Well, good morning to you too, Happy Pants. My smile turned into an evil grin. The girl was always going to punch back and make it count. RhysThis: That’s Mr. Happy Pants. Though, TBH, my pants aren’t too happy at the moment. Want to help me out with that? AngryTink: Tempting. Truly. But, no. RhysThis: RU sure? ‘Cuz Happy Pants Rhys is much more agreeable than Sad That He Had to Self-Satisfy Rhys. AngryTink: Would you please behave? RhysThis: I’m not the one who mentioned the emotional state of my pants. AngryTink: ARGH! A chuckle rumbled in my chest as my thumbs tapped out a response I knew would piss her off more. RhysThis: Was that even English? Honestly, Ms. Brown, I thought you were educated. She took a moment to answer. I could picture her, phone in hand, grinding her teeth. AngryTink: You’re deliberately trying to annoy me, aren’t you? RhysThis: You’re quick. I’ll give you that. AngryTink: Mr. Morgan, I’m about ten seconds away from finding an alternate fake boyfriend. A goat on a rope would be a better candidate at this point. It was cute she thought that was threatening. RhysThis: Yeah, probably. But the goat doesn’t have a signed contract. I do, Tinker Bell. AngryTink: ARGH@!! RhysThis: You’re kind of cute when you talk pirate.

OutmatchedOutmatched by Kristen Callihan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Outmatched was such a pleasure to read. It had all the making of a great slow burn romance, with it's sassy upper class heroine that falls for a rough around the edges ex boxer, to it's great background plot, it kept me captivated throughout as they began to fall in love. Parker and Rhys had such great chemistry, I loved the banter that they shared and the heat that quickly builds between them, turns this story into one sexy and hot affair.

I really enjoyed this collaboration between these two amazingly talented authors. The writing was very good and it flowed so well. It kept me wanting to keep reading as they characters were so engaging, it was such a really quirky and funny romance story that it was hard to put down and not read it all in one go. Wonderfully romantic storytelling at its best!

Tug by Marie James

Amazon: US | UK | CA | AU

Genre: MC Romance
Series: Cerberus MC; Book 10

The plans I made for my life didn't pan out.

I walked away from my best friend, my lover, the only man I could see spending my life with to make a career of being a Marine, but it didn't happen.

A car accident took him away from me before I realized the mistake I'd made.

Now, thirteen years later, I've met a woman and a man who makes everything seem ideal.

He's perfect in a familiar kind of way, and she's the kind of brand new you can't get enough of.

It's just my luck that one's a ghost and the other is my boss's daughter.

These plans may not pan out either.

The Fire (The Hurricane, #4)The Fire by R.J. Prescott
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have waited for such a long time for Tommy to have his story told and OMG it was so worth waiting for!
This story was so bittersweet, but for me, it was absolutely everything I have come to expect from the talented writing of RJ Prescott. Tommy and Evelyn right from the very start have everything stacked up against them, with them both being the complete polar opposites of each other, they don't get off to the best of starts but somehow once the pieces start to come together everything for them then suddenly starts to fall into place, in fact you could almost imagine that they could take on the world together.
Their love story is one which is full of so much emotional turmoil and suspenseful drama, but it's their beautiful romance that is the main feature of the book which centres around Driscoll's Gym, and with Danny and the other boys and their wives that we have come to know and love it is a tale that will melt the most frozen hearts.
I can't tell you enough how much I loved Tommy and Evelyn's story, what with the banter that goes on between them and with that dirty mouth that Tommy possess I was hooked in right from the start. I laughed and I cried right as I turned each and every page. This was a very fitting ending but I really hope that it's not the absolute end of all things Driscoll.
