This is only my second book to have read by Rachel Van Dyken my first being The Bachelor Auction and it was there we got introduced to the Wellington brothers of Brock and twins Bentley and Brantley. This is Bentley's story in the form of a modern retelling of Beauty and the Beast and a second chance of love. I totally adored the way that the author has used this fairytale as the basic plotline for the story but for me at first it was a little hard to tell who played which part in the story until it all becomes clear as truths and secrets are told throughout as to why Margot and Bentley's friendship came to an end the first time around. The story has been written with a lot of deep emotion that had me falling in love with these characters, Margot and Bentley have both been through so much heartbreak and personal tragedy at a very young age that it kept them apart and ended their friendship for ten long years and then when they realize their mistake of why it ended for the wrong reasons it made me really feel so much aching in my heart for them both. It was great to see Brock again being a supportive big brother and the brothers meddling Grandfather Charles plotting and being matchmaker along with Nadine Titus and Prudence McCleery Margot's grandmother. I cant wait to see what Nadine and Charles have instore for Brantley in his story to get his happy ever after. This was a wonderful story that I couldn't put down, it was so full of funny banter and bickering that went on between the characters and I loved the way the author bought out the best in them as they worked through the situation they both found themselves in. This author truly has a talent for writing so that you get drawn into the story and love the world and characters that she has created. MY 5 STAR REVIEW

Their Confession is the third and final book in The Black Door trilogy and needs to be read after reading the other two books in this series. After reading Their Confession I was a little sad that Darion and Gabi's story has come to a conclusion as I have loved each and every book and will miss reading about them and some of the other background characters like Gina and Lexi that have played a big part in the story. I have wondered if maybe the author has considered a spin off series that would maybe feature some of these characters as i'd be very interested to read more about them and where there lives take them.
There are a few surprises and twists to this part of their story that I didn't see coming, this added more spice to an already overheated and ansty pot of trouble that has been brewing between Darion and Gabi since she discovered what his lifestyle consisted of. After having to deal with his drinking, partying and women from his past stirring up trouble Gabi has so much to consider, whether her love for Darion is enough to get through this new problem that has come between them and their happiness or if this is the end for both of them.
This has been an amazing series that is well written and easy to read, its full of hot and sexy scenes with lots of heart stopping moments along the way. We get an insight into the life of running a Gentleman's Club and what's involved in a swinging lifestyle but its also a story of love and of learning to trust again when its been broken by those closest to you.
A brilliant 5 Stars!

After the cliffhanger at the end of His Confession I was excited to get started on this second book in the series. This book shows more of a development into Gabi and Darion's relationship of them dealing with others in the background that are trying to come between them and of Gabi trying to tell Darion that she loves him but that can't deal with the kind of lifestyle that he leads. They both have many hang ups and insecurities to deal with and Lawrence and Eva, Darion and Gabi's ex's both use those against them pulling them in an unsure direction. This part of the story is very angsty and full of hot sexy scenes showing a small insight into the swinger life that Darion once lived before he met Gabi and how he deals with the running of the Gentleman's Club while his Ex wife Eva runs the Black Door swingers club upstairs. The story is really well written and so easy to get engrossed in. At the end of this book things seemed to have come to an uneasy conclusion so I was left totally wondering where the story would go as there is a third book in this series. I read one story from this anthology due to not having time to read more and I read Dragonslayer, Dragon Heart by Isobelle Cate. Ive read many books by this author in the past and Isobelle never disappoints, she has a wonderful way of telling a story, of making it believable and keeping the reader interested in what is going on between the characters.
The story is about a warrior who has being trying to slay his dragon for a couple of hundred years to claim his soul and while searching for her he falls in love with a woman not realising why he is drawn to her and why her scent is so alluring to him.
The story was really easy to read and was a lovely little piece of romantic fantasy fiction. It's left with what could be classed as a cliffhanger so i'm hoping that this story will be continued as either a set of novellas or extended into one full sized novel as im interested to know what happens next.
If you're a lover of dragons and shifters stories you will love this awesome box set that is jammed packed with so many great stories.
