Reckless, dangerous, and out of control; these are the words most often applied to the SHMC’s brother Duracell. Which is why no one can understand what the deal is between him and Blue. Blue is none of those things; if anything he’s quiet, shy, and as mild-mannered as they come. There’s no balance between these two yet they are inexplicably a team. Then Blue gets a single look at Hayley, and it’s all it takes for him to know she’s their third.

Is Hayley the woman for them? A match for Blue sure, but strong enough to withstand the bizarre tempest of Cell’s personality? The two MC brothers have set their sights on the waitress and have been patiently feeling her out. Now it’s time to take the next step and see if she’s indeed able to date the both of them.

She’ll either bring balance to the boys, or Cell’s pull will knock them all off balance and send them crashing, burning them all out before anything can even fully ignite

Hayley was asleep, her back rising and falling gently in the morning light. Cell was awake on the other side of her, looking at her, the calculation back on his face and I was nervous. It was like he was on the fence and I was waiting for a final decision. Did he like it enough last night to want to keep her, or was he of the opinion to throw her back, like some fish he’d caught that wasn’t satisfying enough?

“She’s got a pussy with a GI-Joe Kung-Fu grip,” he muttered and I tried not to laugh. She was laying on me, and laughing would wake her. Shit! I lost the battle and she stirred.

“Morning,” Cell grated and Hayley inhaled sharply.

She cuddled into my side a little more and I felt her lips curl into a smile against my skin. She kissed my chest and looked up looking like the cat who’d gotten the cream and said, “Good morning.” I could tell that Cell was pleased with Hayley and wanted to do more with her by what he said next.

“Look at you shattering all those inhibitions.” He even sounded complimentary.

I smiled to myself, the happiest I’d been for a while, and hugged Hayley against me, pleased when Cell grinned and nipped her shoulder before springing up into a sitting position. He scooted to the end of the bed and stood up. Lean muscles stretched and showed off to spectacular effect, leaving Hayley and me both staring with admiration. Cell had a great body, and one that he didn’t have to particularly work for outside of our day job.

“You both want we should go again right now?” he asked and Hayley blushed, but didn’t look away.

“I’m starving,” she said and Cell gave a crooked grin.

“Well, get dressed. Sunday breakfast is probably still going on out there and we can spend the day together. Maybe go for a ride or something.”

“My bike is back at Hayley’s,” I said.

“Shit, yeah, I saw her cage out there when I came in last night.”

“That’s okay,” Hayley piped up. “I mean, we can go get it. I can dress warmer…”

“Yeah?” Cell asked, making sure.

“Yeah.”

He nodded and smiled, “Alright then.”

We got dressed, and Hayley looked beautiful with her hair tousled by sleep and sex. I handed her a comb after running it through my own short hair and apologized that I didn’t have anything better. She smiled and laughed slightly.

“Its fine,” she said and went to her down jacket, getting her hairclip out of her pocket. She stood in front of the dresser mirror and combed through her long hair patiently, before gathering it into a ponytail. I watched her, fixated, the way her sweatshirt hung artfully off one shoulder, the way she swept up her hair, the elegant line of her neck revealed…

We’d shared something last night. Something deep and personal and I cherished it. I cherished her. I never wanted to let her go. I knew what this was. I’d felt it once before and I looked at Cell, the only other person I’d felt it for. He lifted one side of his mouth in a sardonic smile and shook his head at me. He knew. He knew, too, but he also was letting me have this.

Gratitude swamped me and I felt the urge to go to him and kiss him. I’d had that urge a time or two in the past when it’d come to him. Only tried the one time, the first time, and had had my ass beat for the trouble. Instead, I pulled the treasure that was Hayley into my arms. She looked up at me and smiled, a light of happiness in her eyes.

I bent and kissed her, putting everything into it that I was feeling at that moment, pleased that I completely stole her breath away.

I raised up so that I could see her face, and her eyes were closed, her body relaxed, and her expression one of concentration. As if she were committing the feel of my lips, this moment, to memory.

She was so the right girl…

“Hey, no way I can top that… I’ll get mine later.” Cell said, holding up his hands when Hayley turned to him. She smiled, and picked up her shoes, going to the bed to sit on its edge to put them on.

I looked at Cell and he gave me a still look back. He wasn’t in the mood for contact that wasn’t on his terms today. I could respect that. Hayley, I worried, wouldn’t understand it. So, we had to work together to strike a balance, for now…

Cell pulled his shirt over his head and down over his belt line and sat down to pull on his boots. I pulled on mine and we were just about out of here. I held out Hayley’s coat for her and she shrugged into it. I looped her scarf around her neck and pulled her in pecking her on the nose and she laughed.

“Come on you two, I believe the lady mentioned she was starving and I’m not far behind her.” Cell tossed me my jacket and cut, his already on, and opened up my door, ushering us out into the hall with a wave of his hand. Hayley paused before going through and reached out, laying a hand along Cell’s face. He flinched slightly, but she didn’t take notice. I saw it though, a slight movement, a tightening of the muscles around his eyes, his jaw clenching slightly.

“Thank you,” she murmured and he smiled, all charm and turned his face, pressing his mouth to the center of her palm and giving it a quick peck.

“No problem,” he said and Hayley stepped past him the rest of the way. I gave him a nod and he gave one back and we went to breakfast. He even sucked it up and held her other hand as we walked from the barracks to the back door of the club.

One in which Noah had a father to look up to and guide him. While she knew Grinder wasn’t perfect, she believed in him, and love always found a way, right?

Melody never thought her dreams for herself and her son could twist into such nightmares, and that it was so true, the old adage, that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. She’s about to find out that another adage is true, that sometimes it’s better the devil you know, when instead of finding Grinder, it’s his cold and critical brother Archer at the end of her long drive that she must contend with.

With no other options, and no place else to go, Melody is about to make a deal with this devil that she can’t refuse. Who knew it could, quite possibly, be the best decision she’s ever made?

Rush had always been the brother that was the most up for adventure. Then Grinder died and he realized that it was time to slow down. Fast-forward by a year and more and his older brother Archer had found Mel. Hell, his own twin was with a woman of his own! Rush is starting to get restless again, which was just perfect. Cue a string of anonymous hook-ups and one night stands. It was enough to feed the restlessness for a while, then an adventure of sorts came a callin’ by way of the VP’s estranged aunt and the President’s sister-in-law.

Her daughter was in need of some kind of white knight, which Rush could care less about, but the white knight routine did come with a pretty big perk. It would mean that he got to go back to a job that had, once upon a time, felt like a calling.

Of course, nothing was ever easy where Rush was concerned, especially when he actually set eyes on the damsel in distress. One, she wasn’t some paper princess, and two, she definitely didn’t want him around. After all, one-night hook-ups were supposed to be just that… one and done.
