Blood of the Dragon (Relic Hunters)Blood of the Dragon by Martin Ferguson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Blood of the Dragon is the fourth book of the Relic Hunters series. While it's title presented me with the belief that i'd be reading about mythical dragons in an action adventure story, once you delve deep between the pages of this book you get an unexpected eureka moment and suddenly all is revealed, and with no spoilers from me I will leave you to discover what that is all on your own. What I will tell you is that this is my favourite story from the whole series as it shows just how far the characters have grown both in maturity and in development of their own unique personalities, how well they work together to overcome anything that gets thrown at them and to never give up when things get tough. I must also throw in there that I am a huge fan of the subject matter that this whole book is based upon, of it's myths and legends and of the dark forces that they face.
Martin Ferguson writes superb Y/A books with a knack for believable action and adventure stories worthy of any you would find on the big screen. I devoured this book in no time as it was such a fantastic read, I will be looking forward to see what other challenges get thrown at Adam and the team at the British Museum in the next book of this amazing series!
