Theo Kane how you stole my heart! <3
Gentleman Sinner starts out with a chance encounter between the dark and delicious Theo Kane and Izzy White a nurse while she is walking home from work late one night. He becomes a constant presence in her life whether she wants him there or not, but she soon realises that she cannot resist the temptation of the man and all of his persistence to get to know her. Both are broken, both hide secrets that neither wants to tell the other but that doesn't stop them having an amazing physical connection with each other. They have a slow burn chemistry that is off the charts. Theo is a man that Izzy knows she shouldn't get involved with but she just cannot help herself, as somehow they find that they both feel safe with each other and become each others lifeline.
I started out at the beginning of the book thinking here we go again, another controlling and stalkerish alpha male that has been done to death, but how wrong was I. Theo is a man like no other that i've read before. Yes he's a bad boy that dabbles on the wrong side of the law but he so very much more than that. As you get to know his character you get to see the deep hidden layers that he hides from the world, the deep love that he has for Izzy and the reasons for his need for a controlled environment. I double dare you not to fall in love with him!!!
Izzy was an amazing heroine, just the fact that she is a normal average woman, that has managed to fight back and make a life for herself after running from an horrendous past. The fact she questions why someone like Theo wants her, makes her humble and very human. As a reader it made it so easy for me to connect with her character. Plus she's a woman full of sass and I loved that about her.
After i'd finished reading this book I did feel that we were cut a little short on the details of what happened to Izzy, I would have liked to know a bit more about her but other than that the story was AMAZING! Gentleman Sinner definitely lived up to every expectation that I had and have come to expect from Jodi's writing.
If he ever has an opening but I doubt it (because he loves Izzy), all you ladies will want to go sinning with Theo Kane the "Gentleman Sinner".

Jodi is a one click author for me. One that I will buy the book without hesitation because I know with every fibre in my body that the book will be amazing.

I fell in love with Theo immediately, if there's one thing this author can do it's create sexy alpha males to swoon over.

Izzy is a great character too, she's a strong capable woman that has been though a lot and is still strong and capable. 

I expected Izzy to have a much stronger and shocking back story than it was if I'm honest. It was mentioned a lot and eventually was explained but felt very played down. This doesn't stop the book from being a brilliant read though in my opinion, nor does it stop it from being a 5 star read.

The VowThe Vow by Laura Daleo
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Vow was quite the enjoyable read as i'm not normally a YA reader, but once I started reading this book I was hooked. The story is very drama filled with Claire Matthews on a quest to find her missing brother JJ and the murderer of both of her parents. Claire is a strong headed girl that gets herself in to a lot trouble, having been warned by Detective Reynolds who is leading the case investigation to stop meddling. She comes close to loosing her own life a few times through not listening to others but she always seems to manage to keep on doing what she does best, and that is not let herself give up and fall apart. I really liked the fast pace of the story and even though it becomes clear, (well it did to me) what has happened and who is behind it all from about halfway into the story it was still a riveting read. A great adventure into a world of where humans and vampires co-exist.

This was quite the enjoyable short fantasy read, sex while trapped in a broken down elevator with an handsome stranger. Allie and Nate were both very likable characters that had a deep physical chemistry between them. It was apparent that they were going to be acting upon this attraction as soon as we were introduced to them both. I really liked their story and loved the way that Allie got the chance to show her strong and sassy side to her personality towards the end of the book. I was over her here in her corner waving my "Girl Power" banner. I would love to know how and where things go for both Allie and Nate after the little plot twist at the end...
