Wow!!! This is a brilliant new series introducing us to Dominic Baine all alpha male with a body to die for and a very well guarded private life so that no one knows very much about him except that he is a very wealthy and powerful businessman. Avery is a young woman who is down on her luck as she finds she is about to be evicted from her apartment. She has a crummy bartending job and boss that she hates, her life has never been easy for her but she's an independent woman who finds it hard to accept help from anyone for fear that they will find out about her past and the secrets that she keeps. The chemistry sizzled between the pages right from the start when Avery first meets Nick in the foyer as he steps out of the elevator and we got a glimpse into what was to come from them as their passion and lust becomes intense. There is a lot of sex scenes in this book but they were well written and thought out so that each situation was different and more erotic. The characters are very likable and you really get to feel the emotions from them both as the story plays out and I love the mystery and vulnerability that they both have as they start to give into their feelings even though they both try to hide it and fight it. I really cant wait till the end of the year to see what lies in store for Avery and Nick after the cliffhanger at the end of the book. A very amazing 5 stars!!!
